Welcome to CompSetters. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CompSetters.

1. Membership

• Membership is by invitation and subject to administrator approval. We may decline or remove any membership at our discretion.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Invitation codes are personal; please invite only people you know work in or around hospitality.

2. Community standards

CompSetters is a professional space. You agree not to:

• Share confidential, proprietary or insider information belonging to your employer or anyone else, including non-public rate, revenue or contract data.
• Discuss or coordinate pricing with competitors in any way that could breach competition or antitrust laws.
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, misleading or infringing.
• Send spam, unsolicited advertising or scams, including through messages or job vacancies.
• Attempt to access other accounts, scrape data or disrupt the service.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant CompSetters a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share your content as needed to operate the platform. You confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Tool reviews and job vacancies

Reviews must reflect your genuine experience and disclose any commercial relationship with the vendor. Vacancies must be real, current roles, and employers are solely responsible for their hiring process.

5. Moderation

Members can report content. Administrators may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

6. No professional advice

Content on CompSetters is shared by members for discussion only and is not professional, financial or legal advice. Use your own judgement.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, CompSetters is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by members.

8. Ending your account

You may stop using CompSetters and request account deletion at any time. These terms continue to apply to past use.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
